Elite Futsal Academy 805 is a youth futsal non profit academy based in Camarillo, California, providing year-round futsal training programs and competitive youth travel select teams. Our training is built around technical excellence, intelligent decision-making, and creativity, using the fast-paced nature of futsal to develop confident, highly skilled players in ways that accelerate learning and player development.

Our vision is to inspire, empower, and support our athletes in reaching their fullest potential both on the courts and in life. We strive to cultivate a culture that fosters leadership and personal growth, aiming to create a foundation that motivates individuals to excel in the game and develops a lifelong passion for futsal. By nurturing these qualities, we hope to inspire the next generation of leaders and athletes.
Creativity
Perhaps the single most important reason to play futsal is that it encourages players to be creative and think out of the box. Because the court is smaller and you get so much more touches on the ball, players try things that they would never risk doing on the soccer field.
Intelligence
Futsal’s fast-paced and continuous nature helps to improve a player’s spatial intelligence and ability to learn to read the game. A player’s head is always on a swivel, taking in information, anticipating the opponent’s next move, and looking to exploit weaknesses on the court.
Speed of Play
The small space requires players to not only play quicker but also to make faster decisions. In futsal, you only have a split second to decide what to do with the ball before you are put under high pressure, this inherently encourages players to move on and off the ball, create space and support teammates to combine out of pressure.
Skill Developer
Research indicates that individual’s playing Futsal receive the ball six times more often than they would do when they are playing 11vs11 soccer, allowing players to perform more individual techniques such as passes, controls, fakes, feints, dribbles and runs with the ball
Decision making
Futsal as a game naturally brings players into regular one-on-one situations with their opponent, encouraging players into quick decision making as to how they overcome these scenarios; this could be through beating the opponent with a skill, or through clever passing to a team-mate
Fun and challenging environment
Many of soccer’s greatest players like Messi, Pele, Ronaldo, Iniesta, and Neymar all grew up playing futsal and credit futsal with developing their skills. Futsal has more of everything that kids love - More touches, more goals, more action! Players rotate positions throughout the game, so every player is 100% involved in every game
